Dominica Stuckey’s mission is to bring light to broken, chaotic, and disorganized spaces.
Raised in rural South Carolina, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland for college with plans to become an ObGyn. During her sophomore year, Dominica met a psychologist who integrated faith and psychology in a way that led to a life changing pivot. This encounter helped Dominica discover that her calling was to help people attain emotional, not physical healing.
In 2001, Dominica earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in History from The Johns Hopkins University and in 2005, a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University. She is licensed by the State of South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
In 2010, Dominica founded Atlee Counseling™, a mental health private practice where she has served as the Lead Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. Atlee Counseling™ has provided counseling for individuals and families, clinical supervision for Masters Level Students, and trauma informed trainings and retreats for professionals, corporations, and C-Suite Executives. While her primary clinical modalities are trauma focused, Dominica is especially interested in the integration of spiritual, physical, and emotional health, and encourages clients to explore these intersections in their lives.
In 2013, Dominica recognized that many of her clients did not have a clinical diagnosis, but were overwhelmed because they did not know their purpose in life or how to execute it. This led her to establish The Sunshine Brand™, a business consulting firm that provides strategic planning and administrative services for small businesses. In support of those pioneering new ventures or restructuring old visions, Dominica helps entrepreneurs and organizations gain clarity, create systems and build the infrastructure that will sustain their brands. Dominica’s creativity, passion, and love of learning have cultivated a unique skill set that enables her to design systems and strategic plans for dreamers in all stages of execution.
A gifted speaker, Dominica invites audiences to explore beyond the surface of a given topic. She deftly stewards keynote speeches, cultivating safe moments of exploration and reflection. Dominica is passionate about helping driven professionals heal so they can properly structure their life and business. She is currently developing series of quarterly retreats where high performing professionals can discreetly wade through the emotional clutter that limits their ability to enjoy the life they have created.
